My heart was pounding just watching! Forget everything you thought you knew about Ghast games—this is something totally new and unbelievably fun!
The Quick and Bubbly Rules of Ghast-ette Ball!
- Each team has 3 or 4 players—perfect for a group of besties!
- The game is split into two super-exciting 5-minute periods, with a 5-minute halftime to catch your breath.
- You score points (1 to 3 of them!) every time a player glides through the goal.
- After you score, you have to cross the midfield line in the air before you can go for another one! So fly fast!
- Points doors are only open for a short time, so you have to be clever and plan your moves together!
- Sometimes, when you go through the 2-point door, you get the choice between the points or a fun little power-up! (snowballs, potions, or even a harness!)
- If a ghast is wearing a colorful harness, only that team can stand or ride on it. It’s a teamwork thing!
Unlike those other versions you might see on HermitCraft, where it's all about one lonely person trying to get the high score, our Ghast-ette Ball is all about teamwork! It's a 4v4 showdown where strategy, communication, and a whole lot of trust in your teammates are key. I mean, can you imagine trying to score a goal while your pal EnderEcho is distracting a grumpy ghast and your other pal NetherNoodle is bouncing a fireball right into the goal? It’s pure magic!

I caught up with a few of the players after a super intense match. NetherNoodle, with a huge grin, told me, "It's so much more than just hitting a fireball! You've got to think about your teammates, who's open, and what move to make next. It's like a big, chaotic, beautiful dance in the air!"
And then there’s EnderEcho, who was positively beaming! "I love the community vibe! Everyone's cheering, and even if you miss a shot, your team is right there to have your back. It's a million times better than just grinding by yourself. This is what Minecraft is all about—friends coming together to do something epic!"
